I have a problem changing screen resolution from 480X600
to 600X800. I need to know where I can obtaion an
updated driver to have the ability to change this. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Go to the website (URL) of your monitor's manufacturer to check if yours will
support the resolution you are trying to set. You can probably update the
drivers there also.

unless his monitor is very old it will support that
resolution.
what is needed is updated graphics card drivers from the
cards manufacturer.

Check the web site of the manufacturer of your video card for drivers.

YOu need the XP drivers from your video card and/or video card chip
maker.

Your monitor has only been recognised as a basic VGA one, Aside from
getting the 'drivers' for it (which for a monitor is only a file
containing a specification of the modes it will support), you can go to
Control Panel - Display, click Advanced on the Settings page, and on the
Monitor page uncheck the 'Hide modes this monitor cannot display'. You
can then go to the Adapter page, take List all modes, and choose one -
conservatively, within the ability of the monitor and at a moderate
refresh rate like say 70 at the first attempt. It is up to you then not
to over drive it
