Who or what says no trojan?

How about Spyware? Have you checked for that? Home page and/or
search engine hijacking is a favorite trick of this breed of scumware.

Download, install, update, and run AdAware (free) from
http://www.lavasoft.de to clean this crud from your machine.

In the past I lost my search option and adaware/spybot
did not help try hijack this at www.spywareinfo.com "take
your time reading what the scan found if you cant figure
it out their forum has support, send them a copy of the
scan results the help file in the program will tell you
how, "good luck"
