Safeguard questions in deleting a username

A while back, I created 2 usernames on my PC to help me accomplish something.
I no longer need those username accounts, but am uncertain if there are any
files I may lose by deleting them.

Is there a way to see what files or software (and dates of files) are
associated with each user, so that I can check this before I delete the
accounts? Is there any other techniques you would advise?
