Can anyone suggest a solution for the above error
message, which appears within a window headed CMA,
immediately after logging onto a user account using
Windows XP?

Use msconfig.exe to eliminate the possibles. For example if it doesn't happen when you turn off all the Startup and reboot, you know it's one of them. Now turn half of them on and by the result eliminate one of the halves. Or you can do them individually. Use the major section to isolate it to a particular tab section.
