I notice last week that I had started having rundll32.exe
running in the task manager and if I tried to end the
task Dr Watson would start twice and stop my computer
until I stopped Dr Watson. With help from some here I
determined that the program folder guard 7.1 verion that
I had installed was the one starting it each time.
I notice that with just the trial verson runing for 7.1
that when foldergaurds Dll started then also the
rundll32.exe also started. Since I knew that viruses
sometimes came as rundll32.exe I did not want it running
all the time. I removed the folder guard 7.1 trial and
that fixed the problem. I did not notice if I installed
the 7.1 version before I installed sp2 or not but the
problem was there with folder guard 7.1 version and
windows xp with sp2.
Just thought I would pass this along have ask the folder
guard people why this is happening?
