[QUOTE="Steve Thackery, post: 12420985"] Running Outlook 2007 on Vista SP1 Home Premium. I have two email accounts on two different ISP. Both ISPs puts the word "[Bulk]" in front of emails it thinks are spam. I've created a rule as follows: --- Apply this rule after the message arrives with [Bulk] in the subject move it to the Junk E-mail folder --- That should divert all incoming mails - from both ISPs - marked as [Bulk] to my Junk folder, agreed? After that I've created another rule which diverts emails from my second ISP to a separate Inbox, as follows: --- Apply this rule after the message arrives sent to xyzxyz*@btinternet.com move it to the Inbox - BT folder --- * (account name obscured) This rule is below the first rule, so it should execute after it. So, in summary: 1/ Anything with [Bulk] in the subject gets sent to the Junk folder 2/ Of what's left, anything to [email]xyzxyz@btinternet.com[/email] gets sent to the Inbox - BT folder 3/ The remainder go to my normal Inbox folder Here's the problem: I keep finding emails with [Bulk] in the subject in my Inbox - BT folder. In other words, it's like the first rule isn't picking them up, so they are "falling through" to the second rule, which then diverts them (correctly) to the Inbox - BT folder. To confuse the situation further, this is intermittent. Most [Bulk] emails coming in on my BT Internet account correctly goes to the Junk folder. Only some of it (perhaps a third?) carries on through to the Inbox - BT folder. Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone suggest what the problem could be? Thanks in advance for any help.
