when I'm in the net sometimes my windows xp professional
gives an error message that "Remote Procedure Call has
been ......" then it will restart in 1 minute........ how
can I prevent this?..... I'm only online for 5 minutes
then the computer restarts........... I can't be online
for long hours..... I can't do my job well.....

Sound like you have the blaster virus. Be sure that you are using a firewall in the
future and XP has the built in ICF firewall. Next time you boot up, type shutdown -a
in the run box [or as soon as you see that message] and that may give you more time
to remedy the problem. --- Steve

how can this worm infect my pc when I'm using the latest
Norton antivirus and the latest updates...?

It works on a rpc vulnerability on port 135 which your antivirus would not help -
firewalls however blocked the attack if used and properly configured. --- Steve
