MIE 6

When i click on my Tools > Internet Options >

This message pops up and says, "This operation has been
canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact your system administrator."

The problem is i am the system administrator, and i dont
know whats wrong? Any ideas how to get this annoying
warning message to stop coming up and get my internet
options working on MIE 6? Thank you!!

Very Respectfully,

Chris

I have this same problem. It was caused by one of a
couple of viruses. I have a home page that is porn. I
have been able to fix the home page, but still can not
access Internet Options. Any one have any ideas. I have
spent quite a bit of time tonight searching the knowledge
base, but have come up with nothing. I'm off to Norton
site now...

I dont have any home pages as porn sites, but mabye the
porn site (as your temporary homepage) is affecting the
internet options?

Do you have Spybot Search & Destroy installed?
If so>start>programs>SS&D (advanced mode)>immunise>uncheck the 3 items at
the bottom.
