removing programs that dont show up on the "Add/Remove Programs" thing

in xp, in the control panel, and on to Add/Remove
Programs, i found quite a few programs that were not on
the list that i wish to remove. Is there a way to get
these prgrams on that list???

If the Add/Remove listing for a program does not appear [or accidentally deleted from registry], use the application's uninstaller [file names like uninstall.exe, uninst.exe, etc in that program's folder]. If not, reinstall the program in the same path and the entry should appear again in Add/Remove Programs. Perform a clean uninstall now.

Are you sure that these are not Windows components that you're trying to
remove? I think it would be rare for there to be "quite a few" installed
applications that do not appear in the Add/Remove Programs list.
