Remove the Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool?

how can I remove this spyware from our systems?

I don't mind having to validate the computers when it's time to get
downloads from Microsoft but I see absolutely no need for an activated
copy of windows to phone home every day saying "I'm still legit".

Does anyone know how I can remove this from our systems?

Thanks. I'll try the first method suggested. We're not getting nagged
about counterfeit software (we have valid licensing for all our
systems) I just don't want this spyware running on our network
computers ( we only have 53 systems. I can only image this on 1,000+!)

We have WSUS set to monitor these in the future and will disable the
reinstallation of this muck but there are a few systems that got it
installed and I really want it off. I'll live with the "Download
Genuine Check" copy/paste routine. I have no problem with Microsoft
wanting to validate my copies of XP but the WGA thing went a bit too
far for me.

Thanks for the link.

Pity ya gotta counterfeit the WGA, in order for things to work right. Even
though they have 3 WGA times before without this. WGA callin' home
everytime for this last WGA goes beyond necessity, consumes bandwidth
worldwide.

Wasn't one of the solutions to block WGA at the outgoing firewall?
