I have tried everything I can com up with to make this work. I t wont!
I can make connections to other computers on my local network, BUt other
computers can't connect to me. I have remote desktop activated. Terminal
services is started. When you try to connect the message that comes up is
that the computer is not available. You can ping it from other computers. I
can run VNC and connect to it, just not Remote desktop. Any Ideas out there?

Some folks report NAV 2005 worm protection disables incoming Remote Desktop connections. If your
running NAV 2005 check that. Otherwise see this page for troubleshooting help...

Also make sure any personal firewall software running on that PC is either configured for Remote
Desktop access via TCP Port 3389 or the firewall is disabled...

That was it The Nav 2005 worm protection. All works well with RDC now to
reconfigure Nav at to do both.
