Remote Assistance Error

Error Message: Remote Assistance connection could not be
established because the remote host name could not be
resolved.
The invitation went through to me but this is the message
I received when trying to connect to their computer.

yeah, tell me about it! in my case, i'm trying to access
a computer several states away thats behind a belkin
firewall router. i can remotely access that router and
set port forwarding (TCP 3389) to point to the computer.
i've enabled everything i can think of (and more after
some research). the host computer's requested invitation
tacks on its (private) IP address, so i edited the
invitation to contain his WAN IP instead (and then let
the port forwarding take over). i have the case-
sensitive password right. it continues to fail. i even
put the host computer out on the DMZ and still nothing!
grrrr...
