All of a sudden, the pictures and cartoons etc. that I send to everyone, is
arriving as a dreaded "red" cross. I never had that problem before - how
can I fix it please?

Judy

p.s. I sent this to the newbie group - but all I got was smart ass replies.

If you mean that the recipients of your email are the one's who are getting the red
crosses instead of the images, and YOU are using Outlook Express for sending the email in
HTML format:

Open Outlook Express
Click the Tools menu
Click Options
Click the Send tab
Beneath the heading: Email Sending Format, click the HTML Settings button
When the HTML Settings window opens click to ADD a checkmark to the left of: Send
Pictures With Messages
Click the OK button for THAT window
The click the APPLY and OK buttons for the still open Options window.
