I have my outlooks set so that I get a receipt when people read/delete my
e-mails. Is there a way to block my outlook from sending that same receipt
to other people about the e-mails sent to me?

I use Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1

It does seem a bit mean, if you want receipts for your mails not to let
others see when you have read theirs!
Anyway I think this is how you do it, but I think there are several versions
of Outlook 2000, so it may not work in yours.

On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options and then click Tracking
Options.
Under "Use this option to decide how to respond to requests for read
receipts" click to select either "Always send a response", "Never send a
response" or "Ask me before sending a response" and click OK.

Well if you are in a corporate environment and are using exchange server this
is controlled at the server. If you are using internet email you can go to

Tools>>Options>>Preferences(tab)>>Tracking Options

at the bottom are your options.

Please don't multipost.
