re wab and folders

i can answer the second part better.
1. go to tools--options--maintenance--change the location of the store
folder to some other place of yr choice( some other partition). call that
folder "Mail" in that partition so that you won't miss it and delete it by
mistake.( just a suggestion)
2.C:\Documents and Settings\"your profile"\Application
Data\Microsoft\Address Book is the location of yr address book. when you
reloaded it must have been overwritten. just double click your old wab and
select all and copy.then paste into your current wab. i think it should
work.(copy the wab after that and paste it somwhere else( may be in the
"Mail " folder above?) for future use.
3. you can import mail into oe from your old store. there should not be any
problem with file import --messages--select program (microsoft outlook
express 6)-- import mail from an oe6 store directory and browse to the
location where your old store is.
