thats very good value for money I reckon!
but i think my mobo only goes up to pc2700! :(

I think it should accept 3200 as they use the same slot... it will just run at 2700 speeds... thats what i reckon...

Correct :thumb:

Will overclock a little better, as well, which is a bonus (within the limitations of the memory chips, of course).

Yeah - just the same as me using PC4200 for my P4 - the memory no longer is a factor determining the maximum overclock...

Hey,

So tonight i am dismantling my pc, testing components with Postill over the week as the Gfx Card is playing up i think.

So could i put my 512mb 2 * 256mb DDR400 PC3200 Sticks into my laptop which takes DDR333 PC2700?

Would have thought the Laptop took SO-DIMM PC2700 not full sized 2700...

Bring in the GFX card tomorrow and i'll begin testing it for you. I have the day off work so should be able to actually start it too...
