Quicktime @ Startup

I have a question about startup. Many times I start
windows and quicktime appears in the taskbar. I go
through the startup configuration and uncheck the box
which makes it startup. But then a few starts later it
was come up again, any way to fix without uninstalling
quicktime?

The preferences made at the software may overwrite the msconfig | startup.
Therefore change the option in QuickTime as not to run at startup.

Open Quicktime, click Edit, Preferences, QuickTime Preferences
