*.pvw files

Is it possible to stop XP from generating *.pvw files? I don't know what good
they are, but I do know that they clog up folders...

It looks like these files are coming from some sort of software called
Portfolio. Do you have this program installed? If so, there is a link
to a Portfolio FAQ from the Filext link above.

Do you have an Extensis, Inc. Portfolio in your computer that you use? That
is what PVW files are attached to.
