Hi

I need to remove an item from a pull down menu in IE6 - the item has been
added by a user or when a user has viewed a site it has added its link to
the Tools pull down menu. Any ideas on how I can remove it.

IE 6 on Win 2K Professional

Thanks

Nick,
With IE not open, run regedit and make your way to this key
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\]
Export that key (as a backup.) Look at the subkeys under that Toolbar key.
Find the unwanted subkey. Note the name of an HTM/HTML file which may be in
the right pane. Delete the unwanted subkey. Find and delete the HTM/HTML
file.

Or, download and run Toolbar Cop from

Regards,
Don
