PSE HELP:my hard disk light: lights continuously &........

P'se somebody help me with this problem. my hard disk
lights continuous, & my computer does prompt ENDING
PROGRAM: wupdate.exe When shutting down.
The prompting started after unistalling SYSTEM MECHANIC
trial version.

Try rebooting first. Try downloading + running ad-aware and Spy-bot. If that
doesn't help, try your SFC.
