Hello,
I am using word2003 and I am able to protect certain parts of a paragraph in
word where I leave only a editable section (eg. change the name within a
paragraph). When I try to open the document in word2000 it doesn't let me do
so. Also I am not able to do this kind of protection in word2000 - only whole
paragrahs.

Is there something I can do so word2000 has this feature to protect certain
words only with the whole paragraph?

thanks in advance

Yes, upgrade your Word 2000 installation to Word 2003. As you noticed, this
is a feature of Word 2003 not available in Word 2000.

No - the feature was not available in 2000.
