'program too big to fit in memory' error

Hi all,

I can't seem to figure this out. There's a game I have on CD that I
installed perfectly on this computer (Windows XP Home) perhaps two or three
weeks ago. Now when I try to run the setup file (same CD) I get the error
message, "program too big to fit in memory" in a console window. Then it
closes. I checked out Google and the groups already but no-one ever gave an
actual answer as to what the problem might be. My specs are as follows:

Windows XP Home (with Service Pack 1)
512 MB DDR RAM
Pentium 2.4 GHZ
80GB Hard Drive (13 gigs free)

I don't understand it. The CD works fine on another XP machine, but this
one I get that error message. I can't recall installing or doing anything
major to this PC since it worked last Does anyone have ANY suggestions?
Thanks,

Matt

Ok, I'm not exactly sure what the problem was but it works now. For the
record, I restarted the computer, hit F8, and set it to boot for the 'last
known good configuration' and it worked. Thanks anyways,

Matt
