Are you trying to install Service Pack 1a and getting the
following:

The Product Key Used to Install Windows Is Invalid

You need to purchase and use a _legitimate_ full retail copy of
WinXP Pro to perform a repair (a.k.a. in-place upgrade) installation,
using the new CD and Product Key.

Remember, you should also report whomever sold you the pirated
software to the pertinent law enforcement agencies; you've been
defrauded.

.Hi I had this problem after a virus crash a year ago. I

contacted my local Microsoft Office and after giving them
some details they sent me a new product code over the
phone. Soon after I got my old one working and so I didnt
use it. Good luck El Gordo

Im having a hard time downloading XP SP1 it keeps telling me that my product key is wrong i brought it at frys
