Problems with Windows XP Home Edition and MS Autoroute 2002 and 2003

I have XP Home Edition. I am running AutoRoute 2003. It ran OK. But ...

I downloaded/installed XP Service Pack 1. When I now try to run AR2003 I
get the message:-
"Your registry settings for this application were not copied correctly. To
correct these settings, run Setup again for this application from the
location where you originally installed it."

I deinstalled and reinstalled AR2003 and still get same thing.

I had exactly the same problem with AR2002 and the only way was to deinstall
SP 1. AR2002 ran OK then.

I has hoped that AR2003 would be OK.

Any ideas?
