P.M.

Hi and thanks for reading my message. I'm running Windows XP
Professional.

I've had a recent problem with navigation in Internet Explorer.
Here's the problem: A time ago, when you type in the basic URL
"www.yahoo.com" the computer used to provide the "http://" part and
Explorer would zip off to Yahoo. Recently, I've found that if I just
type in the www.some-web-page.com address, it will display the address
"C:\searchpage.html" (the funny symbol should be a forward slash) and
say "The Page Cannot be Displayed."

Does anybody know whats going on here? Am I missing some vital file
that I can somehow replace? This really isn't a huge problem, I know
I can type out http:// or just always go through a search engine to
get to whatever page. It's just a bit of a pain and I thought maybe
one of you could give me a solution to my problem.

Thanks, Patrick
