I have a pen drive 128MB with MP3 player and a notebook
with USB ports.
I just realized that the windows XP does not display the
content of the pen-drive anymore, though it worked finely
two days ago.

The pen-drive works on other computers and it works on my
notebook too, if I log in with other user account. So
pen-drive is OK.
I tried other pen-drives, they are not recognized either
under the mentioned user account. So I think, problem
should be with Windows XP.

Windows XP detects that I plugged in the pen-drive and the
icon "Safely remove device" appears too in the Start menu
bar. However I cannot see the drive in "My Computer" or
Windows commander". (I see it if I login with different
user name)

Window XP say that USB MAss Storage Device is working
properly and despite of this, I cannot see the drive or any
files on it.

Could anyone help me
Thanks

" you stated that The pen-drive works on other computers
and it works on my notebook too, if I log in with other
user account." Do you have user rights on all machines
some xp boxes will not allow you to install a pen drive
on them without certain user rights. You answered your
own question btw. Also possibly not all USB ports are
enabled in bios or possibly not installed on every
machine would be the first 2 places I would look.
