PRO SEARCHING PEST

As with Tom R - I am experiencing persistent problems
with a mysterious thing called "Prosearching".

This has stuck like a leech onto my IE and causes it to
crash 9.9 times out of 10. Further, it set up a whole
army of shortcuts on my desktop which I have to send to
the recycle bin every morning. The same links have
settled into my favourites list also.

This isn't something I signed up to. It isn't something I
want. I just want it gone!!!

But how do we do this please? It is really hampering my
work.
