Windows XP print stuck in printer queue

unable to remove documents stuck in printer queue - tried stopping and starting printr service and rebooting but the files are still in the queue.
 
It sounds as if the document is stcuk in the spooler directory. The default location for this is C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS. If there are any files in there you could try deleting them.
