Hi All,
I have a customer with XP-Pro,sp2 that
gets a print spooler error and looses all her
printers from her control panel, printers
window.
To fix her problem, I erased all the files
(they were considerable) from her
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
directory. Then, restarted the print spooler
in services.
Problem: worked from two days, now she
is back to her spooler errors again.
(Sorry, I don't remember the error, just
that it was something about the print spooler
being crashed.)
Anyone have any suggestions as to
how to permanently fix her problem? I
was thinking of erasing her spool cache
again and reinstalling here print driver.
Any other ideas?
Many thanks,
