I've made a copy of my Drive C:\ with no problems on to a DVD.I just
let the program do it's job. It's read by both my CD ROM (CD-R &
DVD-R).I want to move the C:\Image to a new HD from boot up.

I've done some checking for help and correct me if I'm wrong in this
but this is how it should go:

1)Insert floppy with files Boot.ini/NTLDR/Ntdetect.

2)Have DVD in CD ROM to be read when needed.

3)Change BIOS setting for FLOPPY / CD ROM.

4)From a startup the computer will read FLOPPY and then recognize the
system needs to start from CD ROM.

If I read PQDI 7 correct the "Image" should come up with a menu box
for me to follow what I want to do.

The problem I have is the floppy with the 3 files is not seen at BOOT
UP.

What am I doing wrong and is there a site / forum that has some
further instructions / tutorials?

I have a 900 MHZ / 512 RAM / XP SP2 with NET Framework computer.I
think that's all that's needed.

TIA

To "clone" C: drive to another hd you dont need the 3rd party software and
its headaches, use XCOPY in xp.Simply install new drive as slave on same IDE
chain, format with a primary partition (xp does auto),then go to run, type:
XCOPY C:\*.* D:\ /c/h/e/k/r Agree to all in the DOS window, when its
thru,shut
off computer, set slave as master, boot up new hd.Also,D: being new
drive,although
if asigned diffrent letter, just change the cmd letter to it.
