Power Options Question

Now we have Broadband considering the most appropriate Power Options.

Have decided on the following settings:-

Minimum Power Management Scheme
Monitor Turn Off - after 10 mins
Hard disc turn off - after 10 mins
System Standby after - 10 mins
System Hibernate - Never

Would be glad for any comments about this...what do other members opt for?

As can be seen this includes for leaving the computer on 24/7. Is there any
particular problem with that?

What we are after is minimum power use when the pc is not in use..but even
on Standby the Power Unit fan is still whirring away. Is that as it should
be?
