Please help me my windows picture and fax viewer does not work!!

my windows picture and fax viewer is down
i can open image with it
and i can preview photos in any folder
that is very inconvenient
i try to reinstall but i can't locate it
how can i do now without reinstalling the windows
because backup is very troublesome in my computer

Try this. Go to start | run. Type in
regsvr32 shimgv.dll
click ok.
 
Type in Start, Run:

regsvr32 shimgvw.dll
