'Why do I get the message "The data file 'Personal Folders' was not closed
properly" sometimes when I open Outlook? I exited it correctly (File>Exit),
but I still get it, although not every time.

That's usually a sign that, despite your correct attempt to close Outlook,
it actually didn't close. See if anything here helps:
