pc hangs at restart

Hi.
when i turn off my pc all shuts down fine, but if I ask it to do a restart
sometimes its ok and reboots but 9 time out of 10 it will hang at the screen
option of enter bios hit del or F11 for boot order etc.
Why does it hang here?

Hanging there is not a Windows issue..
Check for a BIOS upgrade for your motherboard.

thanks....I will give it a go but I think i have the latest bios fr MSI's web
site..
