I just recently installed the new SP2 Update for Windows
XP. I have a terrific little HP laptop - Pavilion
ze5468cl, and it has a "fn" button that when pressed maps
secondary operations to the function keys. All of these
keys were preset when I got the laptop.

For instance, fn+F1 dims the screen; fn+F2 makes it
brighter; fn+PageUp increases the volume, fn+F2 decreases
it; and so forth.

Once I rebooted after installing, I had a video driver
problem - my screen was all dimmed. When I tried to
brighten it using the fn+F2 key combo, it didn't work.
fn+F1 now opens help (like 15 copies of it - ugh!). I
updated my display driver, so the video is fine now, but
there isn't a newer driver for my keyboard and the keys
secondary combinations still don't work. Has anyone heard
anything about this? I'd really like my keys back!

Thanks,

ConfusedGirl
