Outlook Express "Save attachment as" box keeps popping up

While processing my wonderful haul of spam and netsky virus messages, and an occasional actual email, the "Save attachment as" box pops up over and over when I highlight netsky or other virus messages with attachments. Happens pretty regularly with every second one. I don't double click, only highlight it to delete it.

That's a very annoying thing, as I have to close that box to delete the message

How can I make it stop? Thanks

As your AV doesn't scan email and remove the attachment,
perhaps turning off the preview pane whilst examining
your email will assist you.
Under View Menu - Layout
You could put the preview icon on the tool bar so that
you can quickly turn it on and off - that's done under
customise option.

You might want to try the free Avast anti-virus which strips the attachment
before it ever gets to your inbox. Run in silent mode there is no user
interaction at all. http://www.avast.com/
