Outlook Express Headers Download

I changed my Outlook Express setting to automatically poll for new messages
every five (5) minutes. It won't seem to download the headers for this
newsgroup automatically though, I have to go to "Tools" then click
"Synchronize All". Is there a setting to include the newsgroups with the
synchronization (or a way to include it in the synchronization, when I
simply press the "Send/Recv" button?)
By the way, It's Windows XP SP2
Outlook Express 6 (6.00.2900.2180)

Using Synchronize All is what's recommended, Tony, and it avoids other known
problems, too.
 
Tools, Accounts, News tab, highlight the account, Properties button, check
"Include this .......".
This will include the newsgroup when there is a check for new messages
except for the at opening of OE check.
The header list will be refreshed when the messages are checked. I do not
like the header list being refreshed when I am reading this group.
