Outlook Express 6

I just opened outlook express6 and the mail I had in my
inbox is gone...........i had about 10
messages .....anyone know if i can get them back????
All the other folders,,,,sent...deleted,,,,etc are still
there as they were before

Click on View>Current View and be sure "Hide Read Messages" is turned off.
My dad did this a while ago and drove me nuts until I figured out what he
did.
