I add a new idenity to outlook express 6 and I also added
a password to the account while creating the new
idenity.Afterwards, I wnet to switch back to the main
idenity, which I use on an everyday basis. The main
idenity never was password protected. But upon switching
to it I was prompted for a password. I've tried every
password I've ever used for anything on this computer and
I keep being denied access. Does anyone have any ideals
of what could have gone wrong? If anyone might Know
something I can try would you please email me at
(e-mail address removed) which is the new email
address I created when this whole thing happened? I still
have access to this email address. Thanks very much!

Have you tried leaving the password box empty. Maybe
setting up the new account triggered the program to expect
a password for all accounts. If you never set up a
password on the old account it could be set as a "null"
or "blank" password.

HTH,
