Outlook does not remember address

My outlook starting doing something different. Inn the past when I was
composing an e-mail and I started typing an address or name it would remember
it or give me a listing of people to select. A few weeks ago, that changed.
Now it rememember the addresses daily but in the morning it has wiped them
out. I compose many e-mails and I have to click on "TO" and select the user
from the list. It seems to be a setting. I am on a network. Help, seems
simple but I have spent many hours trying to figure this one out.

Your autocomplete cache file may be corrupted. To delete the whole cache and
start over, look for a file with an .NK2 extension and rename it or move it.
Outlook will start a new cache file the next time an e-mail address is typed
into the To: box. Note that if you're using Windows 2000 or XP, you'll need
to search in hidden folders to find the .NK2 file (it also helps to have file
extensions visible).
