My pst file got corrupted and I need to reinstall the backup that I made - I
can seem to find the explicit directions on how to do this. It tells me that
the Outlook.pst isn't valid - I know I made a backup on 10/28 is that the
..bak file? I've tried the scanpst.exe and that doesn't work.
Any ideas?

To make a backup of a PST, you simply copy it somewhere. This means that a
backup of a PST will also have the PST file extension. Who knows what made
the BAK file. You'll need to use whatever that application is to restore
whatever is contained in that BAK file.
