Hello,

Outlook 2003's notification window when new junk e-mail is received,
offers
an option to discontinue the notification. I clicked the option.

How do I get it back?

I would really appreciate the help.

Regards,
Neil Goundar

To reset all notifications delete the following regkey;
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Options\General\PONT_STRING

Hello Roady,

Thank you for your help on this.

I have deleted the Registry key that you directed me to earlier, but
still I do not see any notification when a Junk e-mail is download and
moved to the Junk E-mail Folder.

Is there any thing else that could be causing this to happen.

On another computer (Outlook 2003) I get notification but not each and
every time a junk e-mail is downloaded. It pops up sometimes when i
restart Outlook and junk is downloaded.

I really appreciate your help.

Neil Goundar

Outlook has to be restarted for changes to take effect and it will only show
once per session.

Yes I have restarted the computer but still to no avail. I do not get
any prompts when the first Junk E-mail is downloaded and moved.

I am in an exchange environment. Would that make any difference?

I have tried to test without cached exchange mode, but found out that
Junk Email filtering does not work with that option.

Are there any other things that I need to check for this to work on my
computer?

That could make a difference indeed when the Junk E-mail filtering occurs
server-side.
