Hello -
Using with Windows XP, Windows crashes frequently on startup and then
restarts itself. Thanks.

Thank you - i did mean outlook crashes, didnt know about detect and repair.
Trying that now. After last crash got a "runtime" error for the first time.
On restart I got a message that my Norton Anti-Spam might be causing problems
and asked me if I wanted to disable it, so I did. Hopefully one of those two
techniques will work. Thanks again.

i'm having this same issue. I ran detect and repair and it did not fix the
problem... any other suggestions? This is getting frustrating.

Disable Norton Anti-Spam or contact Norton support.

That their add-in is causing Outlook to crash.

If you are using Cloudmark Desktop for spam filtering, then you should check
out the following post:

I went to Cloudmark.com, ran the Updates download, and it fixed my problem
pronto... Good luck.

Removing the Norton NIS addon (which includes Antispam seems to have worked
for me. I had constant crashes with Outlook, and they stopped. I had no
other addins. I am running Outlook 2007 in Vista. Antispam was not working
well in Outlook anyway, and is not needed with the Junk Mail feature, in my
opinion.
