Outlook 2003 continuously prompts for password

I have Outlook 2003 installed using POP3 as the account. I've entered the
appropriate username/password combo and selected the box to remember
password. I even tested the account and I received messages fine. But each
time that I send/receive, I'm presented with the box to enter my password.
I've tried the fix where you delete the entry in the registrty the Protected
Storage....that didn't work. I've created the account through Control Panel
Mail...that didn't work. The way that this is setup is that I run Remote
Desktop to a server and run Outlook 2003 through the remote desktop
connection. I also have a copy of Outlook 2002 on the local machines
desktop. When I use Outlook 2002 from the local machine, I do not receive
the password box each time send/receive is performed. I only receive it when
I'm connected through remote desktop to the server and running Outlook 2003.
I need help because my users are wearing my cell phone out. Thanks.

Brian, Thanks for the response. I've tried all of these last night. I went
through knowledgebase and have all of these documented. Do you think it
could be something in the Terminal Session? Remember, I'm running Remote
Desktop to a server with Terminal Services.

It could be, but I'm not familiar enough with Terminal Services to be sure.
DId you check the items in the article on your own machine or the Terminal
Server machine where Outlook is actually running?

Brian, When running Terminal Services you're running Outlook from the server
that's hosting the terminal services. I performed the actions from the
articles on the terminal services server and on the local desktop.
