I would like to make it so others using the computer cannot see my files

AND

they cannot change the computer nor install programs.

There doesn't seem to be a choice for this in the permissions.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Convert the file system to NTFS.

Hello,

Are you using the NTFS file system? If not, you want to convert the file
system to get this feature. You convert the file system with the command
tool "convert". Note, once you have converted to NTFS, you cannot go back!

In Windows 2000, a user is member of different groups. A regular user, do
not have permissions to install applications. So, you want to setup
different users too.

Hope this helps.
