I upgraded the forum software yesterday and tweaked a few things. One of the nice improvements is that the uploader is now HTML5, rather than flash .

Many browsers are phasing out using Adobe Flash, as it's a very resource heavy and problematic addon - but it's been used so heavily across the net for many years. HTML5 is much lighter and means we can get rid of flash from the site completely . It's perhaps not a noticeable change, but future proofs the site for a long while .
