OL2003 Importing to User Defined Fields

Hi! I'm trying to help someone import from an Excel spreadsheet which has
many fields unavailable in OL. I added the fields through View--Customize
--Fields --Add New. When we try to import, those fields are not available.
Is there ANY way to import fields which are not automatically in OL?? Any
help will be greatly appreciated!

Outlook does not support importing to custom fields. You would need to write your own import code or use a third-party tool. See http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=23
