offline files disappear

I am using offline files on my notebook.
When synchronising the files are copied to the Offline
files folders on the notebook, but as soon as I logoff
and try to access the files offline all offline files
have disappeared. Does anyobe have an idea of what causes
this behaviour?

Either not setup properly, or some other cause. I only had problems
with offline folders once, and following the re-build instructions at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;230738 resolved
the problem and it has been flawless ever since.

I tried the re-build but no luck. The offline files
disappear as sson as I go offline.

Dunno. Did you try using a "mapped" drive to see if any different.
This all works flawlessly for me. Compare you settings with mine. In
IE, Menu: Folder Options, Tab: Offline Files:
checked on Enable Offine Files
checked on Synchronize before logging off
checked on Display a reminder very 60 minutes
everything else checked off
using 6% of drive

All setting are the same. The problem occros with both shared and not-shared folders
Can there be some server policy causing this behaviour?
We will install 2003 server soon, maybe just wait and see if the same happens after that?
