No. When you shut down the last Office program, the Office clipboard
simply disappears. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=221190, the
seventh bullet item under "Limitations of the Office Clipboard".
If you want to keep something that's on the clipboard, paste it in
some Office program and save that document before shutting down.
