As you know, normally we don’t make posts about the drivers. However sometimes there are drivers that provide significant improvement over previous version, for instance, first AMD driver to support Mantle.

NVIDIA will release its GeForce 337.50 driver, which introduces some major changes, on April 7th.
GeForce GTX 700 Series (Single GPU):

Up to 64% in Total War: Rome II
Up to 25% in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Up to 23% in Sleeping Dogs
Up to 21% in Star Swarm
Up to 15% in Batman: Arkham Origins
Up to 10% in Metro: Last Light
Up to 8% in Hitman Absolution
Up to 7% in Sniper Elite V2
Up to 6% in Tomb Raider
Up to 6% in F1 2013

GeForce GTX 700 Series (SLI):

Up to 71% in Total War: Rome II
Up to 53% in Sniper Elite V2
Up to 45% in Aliens vs. Predator
Up to 31% in Sleeping Dogs
Up to 20% in CoD: Black Ops 2
Up to 10% in Hitman Absolution
Up to 9% in F1 2013
Up to 7% in Far Cry 3

Official announcement...

http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-geforce-337-50-beta-performance-driver

The new GeForce 337.50 Beta Performance Drivers are now available to download from GeForce.com, and automatically through GeForce Experience, which has been updated to version 2.0 to introduce numerous enhancements, such as Desktop Capture for GeForce ShadowPlay.
Headline features of today’s 337.50 Beta driver include DirectX 11 and SLI performance optimizations of up to 71%, game load time reductions, new and updated SLI profiles, and 3D Vision optimizations that enhance DirectX 10 and DirectX 11 3D titles.

DirectX 11 Performance Optimizations

Without question, DirectX is the leading graphics API of choice for game developers. Today, DirectX 11 is found in almost all AAA titles, and enables the platform agnostic integration of NVIDIA HairWorks, NVIDIA HBAO+, and other NVIDIA GameWorks effects in leading titles like Assassin’s Creed IV, Batman: Arkham Origins, Call of Duty: Ghosts, The Witcher 3, and Watch Dogs.
By remaining laser-focused on DirectX 11 (and the forthcoming DirectX 12), we have dramatically enhanced the efficiency of our DirectX 11 driver, enabling performance gains of up to 71% in DirectX 11 games, and additional benefits in games with multi-GPU SLI support. Unlike changes tailored around custom graphics APIs, our new optimizations can benefit all DirectX 11 titles the second they go on sale, regardless of developer or publisher, and apply to all DirectX 11-capable NVIDIA GPUs.
Today’s 337.50 Beta drivers introduce the first of these optimizations, boosting performance in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Batman: Arkham Origins, Battlefield 4, BioShock Infinite, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution, Sleeping Dogs, Sniper Elite V2, Star Swarm, Thief, Titanfall, Tomb Raider, and Total War: Rome 2, to name but a few examples.
Compared to our competitor’s new, much-discussed API, our testing found the combination of the new 337.50 Beta drivers, and DirectX 11, to offer a faster experience with suitably-matched hardware, as found in enthusiast systems:

I'm not one for benchmarks, but everyone is saying these bad boys are great. If you never update you Nvidia drivers at least install these. :)

Some numbers from around the internet...
Tomb Raider 335.23 - 1080P - titans stock - 3930K stock
116 - 147 - 179
Tomb Raider 337.50 - 1080P - titans stock - 3930K stock
128 - 164 - 214

That is a 10% improvement on minimum, a 11.5% improvement on the averages and a 20% increase on the maximums. Superb

Hitman 335.23 - 1080P - titans stock - 3930K stock
43 - 54 - 97
Hitman 337.50 - 1080P - titans stock - 3930K stock
60 - 77 - 122

That is a 40% increase on the minimums, a 42% increase on the averages and a 26% increase on the maximums. Sweetly impressive

Thief 335.23 - 1080P - titans stock - 3930K stock
40 - 72 - 136
Thief 337.50 - 1080P - titans stock - 3930K stock
55 - 100 - 159

That is an increase of 37% on the minimums, an increase of 39% on the averages and 17% on the maximums.
Siege of Shanghai I have only tested so far and again, gains galore.

335.23
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
83185, 950717, 47, 201, 87.497

337.50
Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
117144, 1193345, 53, 201, 98.164

13% increase. This is fantastic and nVidia have done awesome. It clearly shows that they have had done some magic and these gains are across the board from my testing and not just the games they mention. Further investigating needed but too tired now.

Very pleased and running a stock CPU and seeing gains is a massive plus in my book

Edit:

You realise how tough that map is when you see those minimums on either drivers.

I don't play them games, and, I don't have a 700 series graphic card ... but I'll probably upgrade to them drivers sometime soon.

Cool. My brother has a 780 and I've just notified him about these. Hopefully he'll see an improvement.
